Half mounts 60% of life-

Floor pedastal mounts will cost 40% more than the shoulder mount. Stands / bases included.

Wall pedastal mounts will cost 20% more than the shoulder mount.

Open mouths 20% extra.

Life-

|
A 50% deposit is required before we commence work.

Packing, crating & documentation is not included in the price. (Normally +-

Although great caution is exercised by us in security matters, as well as the tanning process, etc.,
we cannot be held responsible for loss due to theft, fire, hairslip or other perils beyond our reasonable control. |
|
|
We reserve the right to change prices without notice.
|
|
|
Any work not paid for in full within 120 days of notification of completion thereof will be sold to
defray expenses without prior warning. |
|
|
A nominal fee will be charged for the collection of trophies.
|
|
|

Please note: Our clients are responsible for obtaining all CITES permits for their trophies from the Fish and Wildlife Services before we can ship them.

|
If the clients wish to insure their trophies while in our care the responsibility will fall upon the client.
|

|
If you wish to have your trophies measured for SCI, cost per animal is $10.

What is meant by packing, crating & documentation is the following:
|
A. Packing & Crating
1. Construction of custom made crates in which to pack your mounts (i.e. labour & materials). Packing of
same, with the utmost care, into the crates to save you money. Freight carriers charge by cubic space
not by weight.
2. Arranging for freight carriers to collect crates from our premises.
B. Documentation
1. Attending to the necessary paperwork involved in exporting and importing trophies. This must be done
meticulously as the customs laws are stringent.
2. Obtaining of signatures of the state veterinarian, bank manager and commissioner of oaths on the
relevant documents.
3. Obtaining Nature conservation permits.
4. Correspondence, faxes, telephone calls, etc.

The costs involved in packing, crating & documentation vary according to the number of animals being processed and the size of the shipping crate. These charges are added to the final bill.
|
|
|
Airfreight and airport charges will be billed directly to you by the airfreight company at the time of
receiving . |
|
|
All our crates are custom made to fit your trophies so as to save you cubic space and money.
|
|
|
We can quote you a price at the time of receipt of your trophies, but this may change at the time of
packing. |
DIP & PACK
Included in price:
Boiling & cleaning of trophies, Bleaching of skulls, Chemical treatment of skins, Plastic wrapping and labelling of all items, Transport to Port Elizabeth for shipping.
Excluded from price:
Documentation fee.
Courier services for the crate to any other destination besides Port Elizabeth.
Other:
Final payment must be received within 30 days of notification that the trophy preparation is complete. If payment is delayed, an additional charge for the re-
CARE OF CAPES & SKINS
Once your trophies reach our factory, great care is taken to ensure that the end product is of a high quality.
However, we cannot perform miracles with hair slip or bad skinning that takes place in the field.
Therefore, here are some tips on how to ensure that your trophies are well prepared:
Always skin the animal as soon after death as possible. Skin in the shade and NEVER drag the animal. After skinning, wash the cape in cold water to remove all traces of blood and dirt. Lay the cape out on a bag or tarpolin and salt well with fine salt. Rub in well. Make sure that the ears have been turned inside out all the way to the tip. The lips must be split all the way around. Remove all fat or meat clinging to the skin, nose and lips. Rub salt into these areas particularly well. After three days remove the salt and re-salt with fresh salt. When dry, pack away until the trophies can be delivered to us. Be careful of rats or skin beetles. Boil skulls and remove all flesh and brains. Place skulls in the sun and dry. Do not place skins in the sun and/or on netting wire or metal to dry. Remember the wounded animal which takes some hours to track and put down will need special attention to the skin as hairslip can occur more easily in these animals. It is best to have your trophies delivered to us as soon as possible after the hunt. Kudu, gemsbuck, eland, bushbuck, nyala, steenbuck and klipspringer skins are more sensitive than others and consequently require more attention whether wounded or not.
